Google added a new feature to search which puts musicians "centre stage" in its search results. It puts the latest updates of info from musicians in the knowledge panel.

“The next time you’re wondering about Lorde’s upcoming tour dates or Steve Aoki’s new music video, you can hear the update directly from them through a post in Search,” said Google.
The knowledge panel can be used by any musician to display images, videos, GIFs, and text. When a user searches for their post or info updates, the search results will display in the knowledge panel.

Users can easily identify when, or if the info they are seeing is real and useful information.
“You can easily tell if the updates are from a verified musician – posts will be marked with a blue checkmark next to their name.”
